It’s time for a new color challenge. I told you this would be coming. This month’s color challenge was inspired by a jacket I saw in a catalog. If you are having trouble deciding what colors to put together, get a clothing or home décor catalog to see what they have used. Here’s a picture of the jacket:
And here’s what I came up with for the project. It uses Tempting Turquoise, Night of Navy, Soft Suede and Whisper White. This is a little gift pouch I designed for one of our Stamposium make-and-take projects.
Supplies used: Flower Fancy stamp set; Soft Suede, Tempting Turquoise, Night of Navy and Whisper White cardstocks; White taffeta ribbon; sponge; Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise and Soft Suede
It's your turn. Create your project using these colors and email me your projects. I will include them here on my blog for all to see (and copy).
This is April's challenge, so please submit your projects by April 30. You may even win a prize!

Color Challenge - Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White
For the first challenge, use Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Whisper White and a Stampin' Up! stamp set of your choice (preferrably current catalogs) to create a project of your choice. It could be a card, box, bag or whatever your heart desires. Email me photos of your projects (and instructions if you have them). I will post them on my blog for all to see.
Here's my card from Jan's workshop this past weekend. It uses the Vintage Vogue from the Occasions mini. The vine image is stamped in Old Olive on Whisper White. The small flowers are stamped in Rich Razzleberry, stamping once at full strength then again to get the lighter color (stampin' off), then layered on Old Olive. The F and friends are also stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White, then layered on Old Olive. The vine strip is attached with snail to the Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the friends layer is attached with Dimensionals. It's a really simple card that your friends would love to have.
Now it's your turn. Create something wonderful and email me photos to share.
