Our little friend

Jeremy took this picture yesterday morning. This little guy was just hanging out on our front screen door handle. Jeremy said he even got to pet him on the head. Not sure that is such a good idea cuz you never know what bugs are hangin out with the bird. But still...how often does that opportunity come around?

We have a birdhouse on our porch, and every year we get at least two families of baby birds that call it home, usually early summer and then in the fall.

That reminds me that I need to put together my birdie scrapbook this weekend.
