Class project and more

Here’s a photo from one of the projects from last week’s class. It uses Bordering Blue (retiring color), Basic Black and Certainly Celery.

This was one of the projects from our team Shoebox Swap. What’s a Shoebox Swap, you ask? It’s a great event where our team gets together to share project ideas. Last Monday, we had 16 participants, which was HUGE! It was so much fun and we made some great projects. This is the best place to get ideas. Would you like to be able to participate in these events? If so, ask me about becoming a demonstrator (even if it’s just for your personal discount). We have many great team events throughout the year.

Did you know you can sign up to be a demonstrator just to get the discount on your stamping supplies? This is great if you want everything in the catalog. We have many, many hobby demonstrators that do just that. They get to come to team events, attend classes at a discount, get sneak peeks and be able to purchase upcoming stamps and supplies before customers can, purchase items at a discount or even for free, attend Stampin’ Up! sponsored events (like Convention), and make some really great friends, all without having to build a business. You will never be pressured by me to do more.

Of course, if you want to make a little or a lot of extra money, you can do that too. And there are incentive trips you can earn if you want to. Some friends have just returned from a Caribbean cruise which looked absolutely wonderful. Oh, the food they show in their pictures…yummy! Next year’s cruise is to Alaska, and while I may not be on that cruise, I am planning to earn the 2012 trip to Orlando. I’m going to DisneyWorld!

Or if you just want to host a class once in a while to share your love of stamping with your friends and family, you can do that as well. That’s what I love about Stampin’ Up! It can be whatever you want it to be. I have made some really great friends and look forward to getting together with them at our events.

Convention is coming up in July and it is an event to remember. Imagine getting together with 6000+ of your closest friends to share your love of stamping, scrapbooking and crafting. These people get you! Your S.O. may think you have lost it (my hubby does), but these people understand your love of this expression of self. And Shelli and the Stampin’ Up! staff are absolutely fabulous!

Okay enough rambling for one day, stay tuned for more…
